OK Hossein well done, you are obviously a clever guy. So I have managed to download the (free)server and have that running and also have the demo (http://ai-hossein.appspot.com/#5679874417098752) running. My immediate issue is that I don’t have the v2.17 companion app which seems to be required. I have loaded the apk in the download root but that does not appear to be the correct one. Could you advise please.

    Thanks, Mike

For the online demo version, you’ll need to use the companion v2.32 found HERE

Once in AppyBuilder, select menu item Help and you’ll see the link to companion.

Jan, You’ll have to use the included companion and connect using the WiFi. The companion is in the root folder of the unzipped folder.

      Hope this helps,
      -Hossein.

    Hi,
When I try to run the emulator it gives the following error:

‘The aiStarter helper does not appear to be running’.

I have downloaded the aiStrater for the MIT website and ran it but the same error occurs. Is this required?

What am I missing? Or what do I need to do to get the emulator running?

Please use WiFi to connect to your device.
Make sure you have installed the companion that is in the root folder

    Hi,
I have difficulties to get the AI2 Companion to work. First I installed the version that came with the AI2LiveComplete download (v2.11ai2). That version wants to upgrade to v2.15ai2. Installation of v2.15a2zx1 (downloaded from the Play Store) gives me the error message “The Companion you are using is not compatible with this version of AI2. This Version of App Inventor wants Companion version2.15ai2”
How do I get this to work?

You have to use the companion for Ai2LiveComplete.
In the unzipped folder, you’ll see a .apk. Install that onto your device

Hi, thank so much for your great job!
I have a question. I try to create a table by SQLite and retrieve the data by select *. Can I use the block “list from csv table” to retreive the data in a list of lists?

    Hi, thanks… ai2livecomplete is a great job.
But I’ve difficulties connecting Ai Companion on Wifi (but offline / without connecting the internet). I mean that I create WIFI LAN without connecting the internet. It’s freezing.
When I connect into the internet, it’s working.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi,;

Based on what I am reading in the various postings you have 3 offerings
    1. Free Limited version of the AI2Complete for download at sourceforge (does not include ADmob, SQLite…etc)
    2. Full version for download which INCLUDES ADmob, SQLite…etc.
    – This version can be purchased.
    – Entitles you to updates?
    – Can compile the apps with no restrictions.
    – We must contact you to purchase this version, correct?

    3. Hosted FULL version of AI2Complete which has a one time fee + ongoing monthly fee.

    Is this correct?
